How long is the show?

The show has two acts and is approximately 105 minutes long with one 15-minute intermission.

What’s your late seating policy?

In order to not cause the least amount of disruption to both the performance and other audience members, late seating is at the discretion of the house manager. You might not be seated in your assigned seats until intermission.

What is your refund policy?

The Buttcracker: A Nutcracker Burlesque© offers refunds for canceled shows only. If you are unable to attend your scheduled show for any reason, please call the box office at The Greenhouse Theatre Center at 773-404-7336 during business hours and they will do their best to reschedule you for a later date. We do not offer refunds if a later date cannot be found.

Where do I park?

The Greenhouse Theater Center is located at 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. There is paid street parking on Lincoln and surrounding the area, but we recommend using the parking garage provided by at 2316 N Lincoln, which will be validated by the GTC. Ask the Box Office for the sticker validation which brings the price to $7 for 4 hours or $11 for 12 hours.

Are there handling fees for your tickets?

Yes, the Greenhouse Theater Center charges a handling fee per ticket, which goes towards overhead costs associated with the venue, and not towards our production.

Does the theatre have listening devices?

At this time, the Greenhouse Theater Center does not offer accommodations for people with visual or hearing disabilities. If anything changes, we will update patrons via our email list and on the website.

Can I bring my under-18 child to the show if I accompany them?

While our show is intended for adults ages 18 or older, we will accept 16 and 17 year olds ONLY if they are accompanied by a parent, who is ultimately responsible for them. Sorry, but children under the age of 16 are not allowed. If you have a question about the show and its content so that you may make an informed decision for your 16/17 year old, please email thebuttcrackerburlesque@gmail.com and we will be happy to help!

Is there food or drink?

There are two bars at the theater for guests ages 21 or over, one on the first floor, and another inside our theatre. Please bring ID. No ID, no alcohol. The theater has some snacks (candy, etc.) but no food. We encourage guests to visit our restaurant partner, LP’s Taproom, next door, for food before and after the show. No outside food or beverages are allowed in the venue.

How can I be contacted in case of an emergency?

If you need to leave a number for a sitter or relative, please leave the emergency performance phone number, 773-456-6492, and instruct them to both CALL and TEXT to ensure receipt. Be sure to give them your seat location and the name the tickets are under.

Is there a dress code?

We encourage patrons to dress for the season! Whether you are on the naughty or nice list, we welcome each persons individuality. We only ask that you respect your neighbors, and avoid things like strong smelling perfumes and clothing that lights up during the show.
