This year The Buttcracker will be debuting new acts, both featured soloist and group numbers alike, along with the introduction of Clara’s Late Night Holiday Party, the party Clara wished she could throw: sexier, riskier, more intimate and close-up, with even more amazing talent from Chicago’s leaders in cabaret, vaudeville, circus, and of course, burlesque. VIP experience includes reserved seating on the VIP floor, cafe table, early entrance with a cast meet and greet, new swag, and entrance to Clara’s Late Night Holiday Party. Early Bird and VIP tickets on sale in October. General Admission on sale in November.

The Buttcracker: A Nutcracker Burlesque©️ tells the story of Clara, the humble office admin, a believer in body and sex positivity. Charged with the planning and executing of the office holiday party, she hires a dancer named Drosselmeyer to entertain her coworkers. But when the dance causes her to lose her job, she doubts whether there’s a place for her in the real world. Seeing her despair, Drosselmeyer gives her a gift of a tiny Nutcracker. Lodged inside its mouth she finds a hidden piece of candy that upon consumption, whisks her away on a wild hallucinogenic trip from the boring-A(s)F(u*k) holiday party to the jazzy, seductive, and luscious underground world of the Land of the Sweets. While there, she battles rats, saves the day, receives her confectious rewards, and realizes her sensual, sexy self is nothing to be ashamed of, but to be celebrated and enjoyed.
